Activities to be performed
Under the supervision and directions of VNGi international experts in the Hague and in realization of the aim of the assignment, the local consultant shall:
Analyze the current state of IT policies in Ramallah municipality
Develop IT policies
Edit and update existing policies.
Prepare draft copies for review and approval
Collate new policies with existing documents
Present the outputs to Ramallah and VNG International
Minimum qualifications
The local consultant should have the following minimum Experience:
Drafted, edited, and reviewed policies and procedures for various clients.
Implemented and revised IT policies, in an effective manner.
Managed and processed policy documents and related legal documentation.
Attended and participated in meetings with project team and stakeholders.
Liaised with paralegals, legal secretaries, and attorneys and handled legal issues.
Discussed and liaised with SMEs and staff to draft policy, in a timely manner.
Developed, edited, and validated policies, policy manual and procedures, as required.
Prepared and presented written material in compliance with standardized format and style guidelines.
Produced and maintained accurate work-related records and files.
Explained and implemented new and revised policies and guidelines, efficiently.
Determined and recommended changes in policy review process and documentation format.
