Goal of this contract: The goal of this TOR is to develop a web-based VR tours Application for Jericho Municipality under the project "The Innovative Citizen Participation," spearheaded by the Palestinian Information Technologies Association (PITA).
Entity Responsible for this contract: The Palestinian Information Technologies Association of Companies - (PITA).
Duration of this contract: It is expected that the selected ICT company will provide all requested services and deliverables in 30-45 calendar days.
Purpose of the Assignment:
The assignment will entail the development of web-based VR tours Application for Jericho Municipality. Jericho, with its rich history and cultural significance, stands to benefit greatly from the development of a VR 360 tour application. Such an application would not only attract tourists but also serve as a valuable educational tool for locals, preserving and showcasing the city history, heritage and culture in an innovative way. By ensuring seamless access for citizens and visitors, the envisioned Application should be feature-rich, user-friendly, and secure, meeting the specific needs of the municipality and facilitating the interactions with people. The new application has to be developed and designed using the human-centered design approach (HCD) to ensure optimal usability and responsiveness to users' needs
Interested applicants must send the technical and financial proposal (in English) in sealed envelopes Each price offer separately (the technical offer in a separate envelope from the financial offer) within one sealed envelope to PITA’s office in Ramallah, Al-Irsal. Ougarit Building, 4th Floor, and no later than April 15, 2024 at 3:30 pm local time in Palestine and include the subject “Developing a Web-based VR tours Application for Jericho Municipality” on the cover of the provided offers.
