Digital Payment Adoption Challenge
Digital Payment Adoption Challenge in West Bank and Gaza RFA
The USAID/West Bank and Gaza Mission is partnering with the eTrade Alliance (implemented by Palladium and Nextrade) to accelerate the growth of the West Bank and Gaza’s digital economy by promoting adoption of digital payments. Based on early results from previous support and feedback from relevant stakeholders in the digital payments ecosystem, the eTrade Alliance identified a need for targeted engagement with underserved communities—broadly defined as women, youth, rural Palestinians, and low-income Palestinians—in order to broadly drive adoption of digital payments. The eTrade Alliance, therefore, is hosting a Digital Payment Adoption Challenge (D-PAC) designed to support implementation of new and innovative strategies for driving uptake and usage of digital payments, particularly amongst the aforementioned segments of the population.
