Digital Video Production
This call for consultation services come in cadre of the project “Green and sustainable solutions for UNRWA schools in the Palestinian Jordan Valley” which funded by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development Germany and implemented by EcoPalestine in cooperation with Global Nature Fund and Chancen fuer Kinder.

EcoPalestine is the Palestinian affiliate of EcoPeace Middle East, a unique organization that brings together Jordanian, Palestinian, and Israeli environmentalists. Our primary objective is the promotion of cooperative efforts to protect our shared environmental heritage. In so doing, we seek to advance both sustainable regional development and the creation of necessary conditions for lasting peace in our region
About Global Nature Fund
Global Nature Fund is a non-profit, private, independent international foundation for the protection of environment and nature that is registered in Germany. Global Nature Fund’s vision is development carrying out nature & environmental protection projects in order to ensure the right of present and future generations to a healthy planet where biodiversity is conserved, regenerated and restored as the foundation of life.
Project overall objective: The main objective of this project is to improve the sanitation services and the supply of water and energy at UNRWA schools in order to help create a healthier learning environment and to include, in addition, environmental education for students and teachers at three UNRWA schools located at Jordan Valley
Three schools have a photovoltaic system that the solar system will partially cover the energy needs. Waste water treatment plants will be installed at Ein Al Sulatan and Auja schools. Two school gardens will be developed at Ein Al Sulatn and Auja schools and ensure a safe graywater and reuse system for the two schools.

Project Description
A production of a 1 Overall high-quality video will be produced, ranging from 4-6 minutes in length, documenting the transformation of three UNRWA schools into Green and sustainable ones in the Palestinian Jordan Valley Area ( Ein Al Sultan – Al Auja and Al-Jiftlik) within the project of Green and sustainable solutions for UNRWA schools. 3 Success story Videos highlighting the project deliveries for each school.
The shooting of the video needs to document the progress of the project within the three schools before, during and after the completion of the school’s transformation.
Technical Specification
As part of the contract, the service provider will be responsible for delivering the following within the scope of work with the communication and Content Development officer at EcoPalestine/ EcoPeace Middle East – Ramallah Office:
Develop the overall storyline/storyboard/scripts for the video and finalize that with inputs from EcoPeace Middle East Work.
Producing the Video (script writing, videography, editing, audio balancing, sub-titling, format exporting, archiving raw and edited work etc.) according to EcoPeace Middle East and Partners standards. Timeline will be discussed during the contract signing stage starting August 2023.
The recording and editing of narration and voice over, as directed by the EcoPalestine/ EcoPeace Middle East focal point, should be done as needed;
The videos should have subtitles embedded;
Conduct filming on-site covering the three locations at least of Ein Al Sultan, Al-Auja and Al-Jiftlik different for collecting interviews and footages as per the script/storyboard under the guidance/in close collaboration with the communication and content development officer.
Take aerial footage using drones after securing necessary permission from the authorities (done by the service provider).
Edit videos, create motion graphic elements, incorporate subtitles/narrations and voice-over and all aspects required in the production of final outputs.
Arrange a viewing of the first draft of the video to incorporate feedback and review of content as necessary to produce the final outputs.
Submit all the deliverables within the time-frame set out in the contract.
Include appropriate EcoPeace Middle East branding and crediting of EcoPeace Middle East ownership for the produced videos.
Selection Criteria, Contract Type & Duration:
It is the intention of EcoPalestine to award the contract for services / goods.
The period of performance is expected to start from Sep 1st , 2023 until Dec. 31st , 2024 or until the completion of the project.
Working closely with: Communications and Content Development Officer at Eco Palestine / EcoPeace Middle East.
Selection Criteria: The quotation that complies with all the specifications, requirements and offers the lowest price, as well as all other evaluation criteria indicated below, shall be selected. Any offer that does not meet the requirements shall be rejected.
Evaluation wight: 70% Technical and 30% Financial
Companies Experience and Requirement:
Minimum of three (3) years’ documented work experience in film/reportage/documentary writing, producing, directing, and editing.
Access to highest quality filming, light, sound and editing equipment.
Technical Workplan: The service provider shall submit a detailed technical work plan and suggested agenda that responds to the tasks, deliverables.
Ability to operate under strict time limits and apply high production and technical standards for the purpose of maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Ability to communicate and conduct interviews in Arabic and English
Track record of successful materials filmed in the region and/or on similar topics would be an asset.
EcoPalestine reserves the rights on all information pertaining to this project (Videos, audio, digital, cyber, project documents, etc), which the Company may come into contact within the performance of their duties under this service. It shall strictly remain the property of Ecopalestine / EcoPeace Middle East who shall have exclusive rights over its use. Except for the purposes of this assignment, the information shall not be disclosed to the public nor used in any other form, without written consent of EcoPalestine / EcoPeace Middle East, in line with the national and International Copyright Laws applicable.

Registration certificate and indicating the authorized person for contracting purposes.

Reference letter and contact details from previous jobs/projects (3 minimum)
Detailed financial offer (Price Proposal Schedule) in ILS including tax.
Documentation of validity of prices for 90 days.
Detailed draft workplan (Time Schedule/Target task) for the requested outputs.

20% Submission and approval of story board and script
40% Submission and approval of edited videos recording of scenarios captured and the footage of the recorded stories with the subtitle.
40 % Submission of satisfactory completion of the video diaries production and the submission of all final and RAW materials
