DCIP is an independent Palestinian nongovernmental organization committed to securing a just and viable future for Palestinian Children in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT).

Defense for Children International-Palestine (DCIP) invites editors to obtain the Bid Brochure for BID 2/2024.

The objectives of the assignment is to edit a 15—20 minute video based on existing footage by DCIP on the violations of Palestinian children’s rights in Gaza & provide subtitles in English.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive experience in video editing.
  • Strong proficiency in writing in English and Arabic.
  • At least five (5) years of previous proven work experience in video editing.
  • Qualified suppliers are requested to provide sample assignments (media production).
  • Previous working experience of proposed suppliers in similar assignments will be given preference.

Important Notes for Bid Competitors:

  • Deadline for obtaining the Bid Brochure is October 17, 2024, at 3 p.m.
  • Deadline for submitting the Bid offer in sealed envelopes is October 21, 2024, at 2 p.m.
  • The contract is a Short Term Consultancy, fixed budget contract.
  • DCIP short social media videos are available for viewing on DCIPs social media throughout the past year

Terms & Conditions:

  • A valid deduction at source certificate must be submitted with the offer.
  • The offer must be valid for a period of 4 months.
  • The consulting firm bears all responsibility if it is unable to provide a valid source of deduction certificate or any official certificate that requires the payment process.
  • Advertisements fees must be paid by the bid winner.
  • DCIP is not required to select the lowest price.
  • The price must be in USD and does not include VAT.
  • The organization has the right to increase, decrease or cancel some of the quantities in the bid.
  • DCIP has the right to withdraw or cancel the solicitation, without incurring any costs and without any justifications.
  • Delivery must be made in DCIP Ramallah Office (delivery costs will not be reimbursed).

  • Please note that DCIP offices close on Fridays and Sundays and on Official Holidays, opening hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4. p.m.
  • Only complete applications will be reviewed and only shortlisted suppliers will be contacted.
  • Payment will be made in EURO /JOD through a bank cheque in the supplier’s name only within two-three weeks from receiving the tax invoice.
  • According to DCIP Procurement Policy, offer must be submitted in sealed envelopes and delivered to DCIP main Office in Ramallah-Sateh Marhaba, Alkholafa Street, Sartawi building 3rd, floor.
  • All Documents have to be signed/ stamped by the supplier.
  • The assignment should start a week from the Bid Award Letter.
  • The first draft of assignment should be completed by November 30, 2024, so that the final and approved version should be ready before December 15, 2024.
  • The estimated level of effort for the assignment is 20 days.

 

Interested and eligible candidates should submit the following:

  • Two separate Proposals, technical and financial ones for the assignment. The technical proposal should outline the preliminary approach, design, methodology and suggested timeframe in relation, while the financial proposal must be clear for the assignment outlining the effort and budget of it.
  • Financial proposal must be clear for assignment; outlining the level of effort and budget of the assignment, the total amount has to be clear in both words and numbers.
