For Food Processing Cooperatives
The Applied Research Institute - Jerusalem (ARIJ), a Palestinian Non-Governmental Organization, is implementing the project entitled “Developing livelihood and climate resilience of poor and food insecure people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip”. The World Food Programme funds the project.
As part of the project activities ARIJ is seeking a competitive offer from consulting company to conduct special training sessions regarding commercialized food processing, quality assurance and food safety. The applying firm must have the demonstrable capability to carry out the scope of work of this assignment and must have the required capacity and suitable experts in this field. In addition, the company has to send the CVs of its experts and previously performed related activities.
For this purpose, the consultancy firm should submit a Technical and Financial Proposals[1] for carrying out the scope of work of this consultancy assignment. The proposal should comply with the Terms of Reference (TOR) of this assignment as described below.
For those who are interested to participate in the Bid and have sufficient experience in this area you may obtain the specific terms of reference from ARIJ premises at Karkafeh Street, Bethlehem starting from 27/02/2024 until 29/02/2024 or by calling 02-274-1889. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to ARIJ by mid-day on 05/03/2024.
A valid deduction at source certificate must be attached to your offer.
All prices must be in Dollar and Include VAT.
10% of the total amount will be deducted if there is no valid deduction at source certificate
A 5% of the total tender amount must be attached as a bank guarantee.
The tender winner will be responsible to pay the tender announcement fees in the local newspaper.

[1] Conducting one field visit per each of the targeted cooperatives during the tendering period is possible, if the bidders require it. These visits aim to facilitate developing and submitting the Financial and Technical Proposals.
