Freelancing Mentors

In 2021, MAAN Center is conducting the “Women bridge to E-work” project which is funded by “More Job Opportunities for Palestinian Youth-MJO” program which is implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project aims to enhance the accessibility of females in Gaza city to the opportunities of working online. It is targeting 80 participants from two different specializations (ICT and Accounting). Participants already took training in technical skills in their specialization, English for business skills, and freelancing Skills. 

The freelancing mentors will be responsible for helping participants to achieve progress in their freelance job hunting and completion. They will work to find out participants’ weak points and work with them to overcome these weaknesses. So, they can get and complete more jobs successfully. Additionally, they will work with the freelancing master coach to check the progress in the career plan for each participant.

To achieve this , MA’AN seeks qualified consulting firm with proven experience in the field of the sought consultancy. The consulting firm should present set of qualifications and technical backgrounds that suits the scope of the consultancy.  MA’AN expects the consultancy firm to have a composition of multi-disciplinary team to execute to consultancy.   

The consultant expected key qualifications: 

• Have more than 2 years of solid experience in the chosen field with a strong portfolio of job tasks.
• Have a bachelor’s degree in ICT, Engineering, Business, or any other related field.
• Develop and maintains positive relationships with attendees.
• Have a working knowledge of Arabic and English ability to deliver reporting proficiently in both languages.
• Having good experience in online working and freelancing environment in Gaza Strip is a must.
