Tender Notice

Mercy Corps is a non-religious, non-profit and non-governmental international humanitarian organization.

Mercy Corps is seeking to contract with a local company in Gaza Strip for the provision of collection, transportation and disposal of up to a maximum of 20,000m3 of solid waste (garbage, household refuse). The Contractor will ensure that a maximum of 3,000m3 is collected and disposed of in the designated site(s) during any 45-calendar day period and has the capacity to ensure therefore an average of 67m3 per day. The Contractor will be paid according to m3 of garbage collected, transported and safely disposed of.

The contractor should collect Garbage every day during the defined period and transport it to the nearest approved collection point/temporary disposal site(s) in the southern governorates (Deir Al Balah, Khan Younis and Rafah, subject to security context) as designated in the Scope of Work.

Please note the following important information:

• The potential bidder will NOT receive the tender package if any of the documents (ITBs or SIFs) are missing.

The purpose of this tender announcement is to receive an expression of interest in participating in this tender. Please note that you are NOT REQUIRED to submit your offer at this stage. Submission of any offers (technical or financial) along with the ITB documents will result in immediate DISQUALIFICATION. In such cases, the bidder/company will NOT receive the tender package or any related documents for this tender.

Completed Intent to Bid Forms must be submitted to Mercy Corps by Tuesday, 15 April 2025, No Later than 14:00 P.M. Palestine Time to one of the below methods:

1. Electronic copies (softcopy):

Email completed Intent to Bid Form (ITB) and Supplier Information Form (SIF) [email protected]  with the Tender Reference number in the email subject line [ITB - PS02 – MAR023].

Any documents sent to any other email address will be disregarded.

2. Hard copies:

Return completed Intent to Bid Form (ITB) and Supplier Information Form (SIF) in person and put in the Tender Box placed at Mercy Corps office in Dier Balah Abu Hosni Street, 100 meters close to Abu Sultan Warehouses, and 200 metres close to Oxfam office.

 The Tender Reference number should be written in the envelope. 

After the closing date of this Tender Notice, the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be sent to the bidders who submitted Intent to Bid Forms ONLY. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be sent according to the preference you have mentioned in the Intent to Bid Form and within 5 working days from the announced closing date.
