Overview: Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children is a local Non-governmental organization, established in 1992 in Gaza City, in order to enable persons with hearing disability in the Gaza Strip to have their chance in life through education, rehabilitation, and job training and employment opportunities. From its establishment as a small school for persons with hearing disability serving 27 students, Atfaluna now serves more than 40,000 persons annually through a multitude of services and training programs implemented within an inclusive approach. These interventions aim at providing equal opportunities for persons with hearing disability in the society.
Vision: A Palestinian disability inclusive society where persons with disabilities enjoy their full rights.
Mission: Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children is a non-profit organization that endeavors to empower persons with hearing disability as well as persons with other disabilities in the Gaza Strip and improve their quality of life within a disability-inclusive development framework
Project Background:
The COVID19 threat around the world has imposed new measures in service provision. The continuation of education for children with and without disabilities become an urging priority. Therefore, the project will build an inclusive e-learning model for its school, where 200 students with disabilities enrolled in Atfaluna and public schools will receive online teaching; the students and parents will be supported with access to the online platform through providing them internet access and tablets where the educational online system will be installed. In addition to the specific target group. The project is designed to address students with and without disabilities through inclusive e-learning modules with equal and sustainable access to lifelong learning. Parents and community members will be supported with awareness raising materials on importance of the online lifelong learning, and they will be trained on how to be part of it with their children.
Object of the inclusive e-learning platform:
The e-learning platform will be inclusive and accessible by students with and without disabilities supported by sign language interpretations and audible lessons to meet the needs of students with hearing and visual disabilities. The platform will be designed and promoted to be accessed at the national and regional level where content of educational materials will be interactive focusing on skilling students on real matters in life. The platform will focus on pedagogical services for both teachers and students.

Submission Process: Interested individuals should submit technical and financial proposals in two different envelops and a soft copy in CD, where the Financial offer in (USD)
technical offer; Methodology & Work Plan, topics outline, Required qualifications and experience (example of previous works). Technical offers can be either in Arabic or English.
There will be a pre-bid meeting hold for applicants
A pre-meeting will be held on Tuesday on the 4th of May 2021 at 12:00 pm. Gaza time in Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children.
Deadline for submitting the technical and financial proposals is 6th of May, at 2:00 PM at Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children, 72 Philisteen Street, Gaza City.
