Installation of Solar Panel PV Systems for

Small and Medium Enterprises in the Gaza Strip

Mercy Corps is implementing the project of “Installation of Solar Panel PV Systems for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Gaza Strip” funded by Initiative for Palestinian Economy (IPE). The project aims to supply SMEs in Gaza City with a much-needed affordable source of electricity. Tender may be picked up at Mercy Corps Office in Gaza during normal working hours as stated below:

In this context, Mercy Corps invites sealed bids from eligible companies/vendors in Gaza to participate in the above tender.

The following conditions apply:

• The contractor must be registered in the official quarters. 
• Prices must include VAT, and the contractor must provide official invoice.
• Tender can be obtained through Mercy Corps website on the link MC Tender GAZ0353-PV Solar project  
• MANDATORY: The pre-bid meeting will be conducted through Zoom on the following link:

• Questions submission last date Sunday, 6 September 2020, to the following email address:

“[email protected]” with email subject title “GAZ0353-IPE-Gaza City PV Solar Project”

• Questions will be answered by 8 September 2020, All prospective bidders will access consolidated questions and answers, the link will be shared through email
• The tender submission deadline Sunday, 13 September 2020, before 15:00, 
• Submission: Electronic offers should be submitted only to the email address : [email protected] in three packages, i.e., The main folder containing two separate folders, one bearing the words: “Folder A – Technical Proposal Folder”  “B – Financial Proposal”
• Tenders opening in 2 stages: 

Stage One: Private evaluation of "Folder A –Technical Proposal” only. Mercy Corps has a technical committee of engineers that will evaluate and score each proposal.

Stage Two: After conducting the technical evaluation, bidders who will pass the technical evaluation will receive the ZOOM meeting link for public announcement of "Folder B - Financial Proposal”.
