PalTrade was established in 1998, as a non-profit development organization, which was mandated as the Palestinian National Trade Promotion Organization. Balady.ps
In response to the unusual situations caused by the spread of COVID19 virus, and in the context of Baladi Atyab Campaign (حملة بلدي أطيب لدعم المنتج الوطني) which is being implemented by PalTrade and Oxfam since 2017, An e-commerce platform (balady.ps) will be launched that is committed to promoting locally manufactured products of the Palestinian small-scale producers, as well as the for-profit businesses. Through which small scale producers and private sector companies should be able to virtually exhibit and directly sell their products to the Palestinian consumers/users through their individual online stores.
Balady.ps is an e-commerce platform initiated by Baladi Atyab campaign to the promote the produce of the SSPs and other Palestinian producers. Balady.ps is aiming at increasing local consumers’ demand for good quality and local (Baladi) products that will trigger business activity. In addition to enhancing the accessibility of SSPs of the local market.
SCOPE OF WORK
PalTrade is looking to hire a national service provider to conduct a launching ceremony of Balady.ps platform, and a marketing communications campaign. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The RFP consists of two BOQs, and bidder must submit their technical and financial offers for each BOQ separately , bidder should apply for both BOQs.
- Your proposals should be addressed and submitted to Palestine Trade Canter – Al Balou Street, Mall of Palestine Bldg. 5th floor in 2 separated financial and technical sealed envelopes no later than Thursday 25 March 2021, at 12:00 PM with subject RFQ # PTC-014-03-2021.
- The winner company will bear the cost for the local newspaper ad.
- The RFP documents should be signed and stamped, and returned within the offers along with other requirements presented in the RFQ documents.
- Your proposal(s) in the required format (Schedule of requirements) should be addressed and submitted in sealed envelopes to the address specified and date below, late bids will be rejected.
- PalTrade will award the contract to the bidder whose quotation has been determined to be responsive to requests.

- If PalTrade decides to make change to this RFP this shall be through Addendum. Copies of Addendum will be furnished to all Bidders.
- Information relating to the examination, evaluation, comparison, and post-qualification of bids, and recommendation of contract award, shall not be disclosed to bidders or any other persons not officially concerned with such process.
- Any effort by a Bidder to influence PalTrade in the examination, evaluation, comparison, and post-qualification of the bids or contract award decisions may result in the rejection of its Bid.
