The Palestinian Information Technologies Association (PITA) in partnership with the Fundación Alianza por los Derechos, la Igualdad y la Solidaridad Internacional member of Action Aid (ApS) will implement a project titled “Women and Youth Transforming Local Public Services in Hebron”, under the thematic programme “Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) as Actors of Governance and Development Work in the Field”, funded by the European Commission and Co-Funded by and Balearic Government (GOIB).
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the role of vulnerable groups as actors for change in local development processes for a more equal, open, and democratic society in Palestine. The specific objective of the project is to build the capacity of a range of CBOs and CSOs in Hebron for them to contribute meaningfully and to be more accessible and responsive to women and youth’s needs and interests in public services. Through the effort to build the capacity of a range of CBOs led by women and youth, they can bring their work to a wider audience, increasing the political and social scope and impact of their work at the local level and building relationships between local public institutions and CSOs. This increases mutual understanding and trust, fosters active CSO participation in governance processes, monitors policies and services, and increases public access to official information and channels their views.
Objective and scope of the assignment
Create content and use of different channels to support the communication and visibility for the main activities that will take place during the six months of the implementation period of the project described.
Specific objectives of this assignment:
Promote and communicate the results of the project.
Create a visual and brand identity for the project, taking into account the brand guidelines of the partners.
To make known and increase the visibility about the added value of women and youth participation in the governance processes and policy dialogue with the Hebron municipality.
Ensure visibility of EU's and GOIB’s support to the project.
Ensure valuable communication about the project to national partners and civil society, while informing important external stakeholders and the public about the activities and results of the project.
Ensuring a wide engagement of key targeted stakeholders.
The media agency is expected to provide the following key services:
Design materials and content for: Banners, Billboards, printed poster, social media ads and etc.
The design will be sent also in editable format (.ai or .psd). In the case of the videos, editable and English translation will be needed to adapt the content for European/Spanish audiences.
Create persuasive social media content (audio, visual, text, animation) as per the requirement of the project.
Record and edit the radio spots, video spots, TV spots and Radio episodes.
Broadcast messages for Radio spot, Video spot, TV spot and Radio episodes, through local and national media and social media.
Coordinate with the concerned stakeholders for the television and radio broadcast.
Ensure the media coverage of the project in the local Palestinian media including newspapers and national media outlets
Invite media outlets to the main activities of the project.
Identify effective medium and best practices to communicate with and reach larger audience.
Organize social media campaigns under supervision and upon request of the management of the project.
Align with EU and GOIB existing communications strategy and guidelines.
Use new digital tools, graphic designs, and best practices for better outreach.
All products should be translated into Arabic and English as per the need.
Branding, logo, slogans, and other critical documents should be used effectively and with consent from concerned donors.
All the activities should be consulted with the concerned person/ department of APS and PITA before finalizing.
