Tender Description

Medical Aid for Palestinians invites specialized suppliers to submit quotations for supplying Medical Devices for Pediatric ICU, Obstetrics and gynecology, and Pediatric inpatient department to the PFBS in the North of Gaza, under GAZ200-009 - Supporting PFBS project as per the attached list and according to the following conditions (Please fill the attached table):

Special conditions:

  • Prices are in USD and including VAT and all costs of fees incurred including customs, transport, and delivery.
  • The goods should be compatible with the specifications attached.
  • MAP is not committed to award the contract to the lowest price bid, but rather the awarding will be based on quality, delivery, and price as well.
  • The prices should be valid for 90 days from the date of submitting the price offer.
  • The company has to submit the brand name, the country of manufacture/Manufacturer and the delivery date to Gaza for all of their offered items.
  • The offered manufacturer must be approved/ registered by the health authorities.
  • The company should submit the dates of manufacture and the expiry dates for their offered items before initiating the Purchase Order in case your company was awarded to deliver the requested medical items.
  • The offered items should at least have 75% of their shelf lives.
  • The company should be ready to submit certificates of analysis for the delivered batches of medical items or samples if they were asked to, and if any items over the amount of $ 2000 and needs analysis, the cost should be paid by the supplier.
  • In case a change in the concentration of an item or packing it in certain containers is requested, this must be done in an officially approved way with directly contacting MAP and only after obtaining prior written permission.
  • MAP Shall be able to increase the total of contract 100% as well as reduce the quantities ordered per line up to 100% and shall also be able to add any new items to the contract with agreed unit rate.
  • MAP has the right to cancel, postpone or extend the tender.
  • MAP is not bound to accept the lowest price.
  • MAP has the right to split the bid to more than one supplier.
  • Any offer without complete data (Brand -Delivery Date-Samples or catalogues if required) will be excluded and rejected by MAP tender committee.

 

Cargo Requirements:

  1. Palletization:
  • All cargo items must be palletized and shrink wrapped.
  • Each pallet must be clearly marked with:
  • Agency name (and recipient agency if different than sender).
  • Consignment/tracking number.
  • Package relevant info (Pallet 1 of X) and/or QR-CODE.
  • Wight and Quantity and expiration date
  • Branding and stickers are highly advisable as well.
  • If consignments are small volume, or may be split up for any reason, it is highly advisable that individual boxes be marked as well.
  • To comply with scanning and handling requirements, each pallet should be built to the following specification:
    • Pallet size: maximum 120cm width x 120cm length with maximum height of 170 cm
    • Maximum weight per pallet 750 kg.
    • Each pallet should be wrapped 4 layers of shrink plastic wrap and should be secured with plastic binding.

For medical Supplies:

  • Securing the medical supplies on the pallets to prevent damage during transport. wrap and strap the cartons materials securely.
  • Clearly label each pallet with information, the contents, destination, and any special handling or storage instructions.
  • Provide a proper handling protocol.
  • Medicines that require low temperatures are sent in cold chain containers.
  • The delivery of items should be to the North of Gaza, and it is the supplier’s responsibility, without any intervention from MAP.
