Caritas Jerusalem (CJ) is a humanitarian and development organization that represents the socio-pastoral services of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land. It was founded in 1967 in the aftermath of the Six-Day War. Caritas Jerusalem is a member of Caritas Internationals, a confederation of 162 member organizations operating in more than 200 countries. The program titled “Greater resilience and wellbeing of rural communities in Jenin Governorate-Coherence”. The program is part of an international development program called COHERENCE that comprises interventions in seven countries: Belgium, Burkina Faso, Burundi, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Niger and Palestine. The COHERENCE program aims to contribute to strengthening resilience of rural communities in partner countries towards economic, political, environmental and humanitarian crises.

This program is funded by Caritas International Belgium (CI.be) and Caritas France and implemented by Caritas Jerusalem for enabling the most vulnerable, especially young people and women, to aim for a better life by seizing opportunities and realizing their aspirations.

Caritas Jerusalem intend to hire a consultancy firm to perform specific tasks under the contract titled “Individual Consultant for Providing Midterm Evaluation”.
