National Policy Review and Development to Protect Elderly People in Day Care and Residential Settings during the Covid-19 pandemic
The Union of Charitable Societies (UCS), a Palestinian Non-Governmental Organization, is implementing the project entitled “Hand to Hand with the older person to pass Covid-19 Pandemic during 2020-2021”, the project is funded by the British Consulate-General Jerusalem.
As part of the project activities UCS is seeking a competitive offer to review the existing national policy document includes standards, procedures and guidelines to protect elderly people in day care institutions and in residential institutions from abuse, neglect and ensure quality services provided to them. In addition to health safety standards to prevent transmission of the COVID-19 pandemic to the elderly. And after the development of the National Policy, two trainings workshops (20 hours each) will be conducted for (44) caregivers on the implementation of standards and procedures of the national policy.
Who are eligible to participate in the quotations?
- Registered Consultancy firms.
- Institutes of policy making.
- Institutes of Health in the universities.
- Individual consultants.
The applying Firms/Institutes/Consultant must have the demonstrable capability to carry out the scope of
work of this assignment and must have the capacity and experience to carry out the Project.
How to apply: Expressions of interest letter must be sent by those interested in participating in the (RFQ), to the following email: [email protected] until no later than Friday, 18/12/2020, in which they request to send the Terms of Reference along with sending the certificate of registration of the Firms/Institutes or the C.V of individuals.
The terms of reference (TOR) will be sent within 48 hours from the date of sending the letter of interest.
