International Medical Corps (IMC) is a global, humanitarian, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through emergency response and development programs. In 2021, IMC increased operations in the Gaza Strip, implementing within 3 main sectors: health, protection and DRR. IMC wants to portray the impact of the work it does by documenting/ capturing implementation through photos and videos to be presented on its website, social media, publications, and other communications materials.

International Medical Corps is currently looking for: Photo and Videography Consultant

Objective
To increase visibility locally and globally, IMC would like to establish a consulting contract with a local individual or agency photographer/ videographer who can
Produce high quality photos, videos and video interviews.
Manage an efficient post-production process to produce high-quality photos and video products according to very specific requirements; and,
Train client staff on basic camera, video and video editing skills.
Under the overall supervision and guidance of the Grants Reporting and Communication Manager, the service provider/consultant will directly work with the Communications Officer of IMC.
The consultant/service is expected to.
Document and illustrate IMCs work through the lens. Especially by capturing thematic and sectoral images for the 3 sectors of Health, protection and DRR to be used in different knowledge products and regular communication materials.
Produce English and or Arabic promotional video footages featuring the work of IMC in Gaza per the different sectors and subsectors but also some success stories.
Work with IMC sector leads and the communication department fo identify opportunities to document IMC activities.
Provide advice on suitable cutline (photo description) for photographs accompanying IMC stories or reports.
Record details of when, where and who the photo is about.
Capture professional images and photos of project activities, events, project partners (Private and Public), stakeholders, and project beneficiaries on a need basis and upon consultation with the project.
travel to IMC implementation sites and events with IMC staff. The specific field visit plan and work plan for such is to be determined during activity 1 described below.
Required Skills and Experience
Demonstrable prior experience in photographing and recording similar projects/activities, with portfolio provided upon request
Fluency in English and Arabic Required with Outstanding communication skills
Ability to deliver products according to the specified technical requirements
Excellent professional photography and videography skills
Proven experience in working with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro (have valid Adobe Cloud license), etc.
Experience providing similar services for international and/or humanitarian organizations
Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure
An eye for detail and creativity.

Documentation Required for Submission
Interested individual or agency consultant must submit the following documents/ information to demonstrate their qualifications.
Proposal and workplan on how they are going to carry out the assignment demonstrating relevant experience related to the assignment.
Profile/personal CV for primary point of contact, indicating all experience from similar projects, as well as the contact details (email and telephone number) for the individual/ firm and at least three (3) professional references and links to previous work that clearly indicates ability to implement the above requested outputs/ deliverables.
Proposed budget, including all cost components required to perform the deliverables identified in the TOR, including professional fee, per diem (meals, transportation, accommodation), communication costs and any other applicable cost. Details must be provided.
Signed Financial Proposal indicating the unit cost for each required service according to TOR attached.
