The effectiveness of the national Referral system
Individual Consultant to Develop a Policy Paper in the field of Sexual and Gender Based Violence (S&GBV)
PWWSD is seeking to hire a consultant to perform an assessment on issues of top priority in relation to S&GBV and gender equality needs )the effectiveness of the national Referral system) develop a position paper for policy advocacy, facilitate a policy dialogue between rights holders and duty bearers, and produce a presentable policy paper documenting the results and recommendations of the policy dialogue in both Arabic and English.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of proven professional experience in women’s empowerment, gender equality and academic research and analytical reports development.
- Proven experience in applying human rights-based-approach (HRBA) in policy dialogue interventions and papers (samples of previous work might be requested).
- Very strong understanding of national and international policy and legal frameworks on gender equality, and women's rights, including understanding of social, cultural, economic and political context of Palestine.
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English are required.
