Providing child resilience session services

MA’AN Development Center is an independent Palestinian development and training institution established in January, 1989, registered by law as a non-profit organization. The main office is located in Ramallah and the other branch offices are located in Gaza, and Jenin. MA’AN's work is informed by the necessity of creating independent, self-reliant initiatives that lead to the development of human resources for sustainable development, which incorporate values of self-sufficiency and self-empowerment.

In partnership with Save the Children international, Ma’an Development Center is implementing a project “Resilient, inclusive and protective communities and schools for girls and boys, parents and school staff in the West Bank and Gaza Strip”

to contribute to creating a conducive, inclusive, safe and enabling environment for children to develop their fullest human potential through strengthened protection and education systems and quality child protection and education services.

To provide structured school- and community-based psycho-social support to children and youth victims of violence, neglect, exploitation, gender-based violence, engagement in harmful work and risky behaviours and rights violations

For addressing this aim, Ma’an Development Center is willing to contract specialized animator to deliver child resilience sessions, using the developed Save the children international resilience manual
