Tender Description

UNESCO Ramallah, as a lead agency for the SDG 4 in Palestine, supports the country in advancing the TVET agenda. Currently, implements the project “TVET4Future”, funded by the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel). Within this framework, UNESCO Ramallah Office launches a request for proposals to initiate a public-private sector dialogue for the benefit of the TVET sector and bring the public and private sectors together around the shared objectives of improving the skills and competences of the TVET graduates, facilitating the transition from school to work, and creating more decent sustainable job opportunities.

 

The assignment Objectives are:

 

-Undertake a mapping study to analyze challenges in the TVET sector of Palestine and identify solutions that the private sector contributes to.

-Organize a high-level roundtable meeting for 25 participants. The round table focuses on discussing the challenges and solutions identified by the mapping study above.

-Based on the results of the high-level round table and the situational analysis of the work undertaken by various actors in the TVET sector in Palestine, prepare a policy paper on strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors for the benefit of TVET in the current context of Palestine.
