Recruiting Specialized Private Sector and Market Experts in WEF and Relevant Fields
MA’AN Development Center in partnership with Oxfam is implementing an EU-funded project entitled “Building the Economic Resilience for the Gaza Strip”, which aims to enhance the economic resilience of vulnerable economic groups in the Gaza Strip affected by recurrent political and economic shocks, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The project supports the institutional capacity development of MA’AN entrepreneurship and innovation hub to integrate the green economy and WEF. Through the project, the Hub will expand its work to include an Innovation Research Fund to (a) support research projects that provide tangible solutions to real challenges posted by solution seekers in the private industries while mainstreaming the integration of green economy and WEF (b) provide funding to 3 innovative applied research ideas.
The aim of the consultancy is to assign technical research and industry experts who have research and applicable experience in fields relevant to the water-energy-food (WEF) nexus, and who have access to a network of technical subject-matter researchers and business owners in the local and regional market.
