United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:

 

Completing renovation works of the Riwaya Museum, located in the Bethlehem Peace Centre premises, in Bethlehem Palestine. The Riwaya Museum is housed within a two-floor (basements) area (approximately 1,200 sqm) along the parking level and a level below. Mosaics and archaeological remains from a previous monastic period (7th century), which was found and preserved during the construction of the Peace Centre are also housed in the second basement floor area.

 

The proposed works consist of finishing works for the ceiling, walls and floor including replacing suspended ceiling, painting works, fabrication of special architectural elements, replacing cables and wires, installing new lighting fixtures, installing fire extinguishing system, upgrading drainage and ventilation systems, installing voice alarm and earthing systems. The works shall comply with the requirements of the civil defense for public safety. The works will include supplying, manufacturing, installing, finishing, operating, testing, commissioning, handing over and maintenance of executed works all in accordance with the contract, general and special specifications, preambles, and Bills of Quantities.

 

Interested companies who wish to participate in the OIC must request for a complete set of Solicitation Documents, available free of charge, from UNESCO contact person at the address shown below. Furthermore, interested companies must fill in the Intention to Bid Form (available in Annex IV)  of the Solicitation Documents and return within ten (10) working days after date of issuance of the ITB and sent by email to UNESCO Focal Point (Attn: Please refer to Section II – Bid Data Sheet.)

 

The sealed tenders must be delivered to the UNESCO Ramallah Office, Tokyo Street, 15 Abraj Building, Flr. 12 Ein Munjed, Ramallah, Palestine, in strict compliance with the instructions as stipulated in the Solicitation Documents.
