Request for Expression of Interest

for Vendor / Service Provider Database 

Introduction: 

WFP intends to update its local database for service providers of the below services:

Transportation Services

Customs Clearance Services

Warehousing Services

Handling Services (Labors)

Interested local service providers of above listed services are requested to complete a service provider profile form and return for assessment and for possible registration into the local Vendor / Service Provider Database.

Requirements for consideration:

Prospective local service providers should submit the completed service provider profile form together with:

Certificate of incorporation (must have been in business for a minimum of 3 years).

Other licenses or authorizations issued by the appropriate government authority to operate business.

Local Bank account.

References of at least five major customers/clients.

An official letter showing that your company has ‘Legal Liability Insurance’ for goods stored in your warehouse, or for goods being transported on your / your subcontractors’ trucks.

Deadline:

Interested locally registered service providers who meet above requirements should complete a copy of the following ‘Transport Questionnaire’ available here: Transport Questionnaire form Transport Questionnaire – and return together with relevant supporting documents by 30 June 2023.

Review of Documents:

Desk review of the service providers profile forms received at the close of 30 June 2023 and necessary physical visits by a consultant to be appointed will take place in August 2023.   

Successful applicants will be included in the updated service providers database at the end of the exercise and invited to bid for available requirements from time to time.
