The project “Enhancing the Protection and Re-integration of Furthest Left Behind Groups of Women and Girls Victims and Survivors of Violence in Palestine” is supported by the UNWOMEN and implemented by the Palestinian Working Woman Society for Development (PWWSD) until September 2022. The project aims to empowering Palestinian women and girls on the individual, collective and institutional levels to be deeply engaged in all decision-making processes that affect their lives and communities, also it aims to eliminating discrimination against women and girls by combating gender-based violence within Palestinian society and promoting women’s peace and security per international human rights laws and agreements.
PWWSD is seeking to hire a researcher with medical background to conduct auditing of the Elderly Care Center in Jericho (Bait Al-Ajadad) to help ensuring that elderly people are receiving the proper quality of care they need, and that they are not being abused or neglected, taking into consideration aspects related to intersectionality and diversity, including the compounded discrimination they might face, the compounded drivers and factors of vulnerability, the different form of disabilities, and others as relevant
