PROJECT BACKGROUND
The Recovery Support to Vulnerable Farmers, Fisher Folk and herders in Gaza project is a project funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC), the project focuses on the provision of assistance that contributes to the resilience and recovery of farmer, fisher-folk and herders in peri-urban or semi-agricultural areas of Gaza. The project aims to protect livelihoods, decrease aid food dependency and build resilience. Its main priorities are to restore and enhance the production capacity of vulnerable and affected households; protect their livelihoods and assets and increase their resilience. The objectives will be achieved through the rehabilitation and protection of productive assets, the provision of fodder, fishing nets, veterinary services, and the rehabilitation of animal shelters. In addition, access to water for agriculture through wells maintenance, rain collecting ponds and water carrier lines will be enhanced.
PURPOSE OF BIDDING
Oxfam are conducting a bidding process and invites your submission of a proposal to provide Oxfam, within their requirements, for:
CONSULTANCY SERVICE TO CONDUCT PARTICIPATORY EVALUATION WITH FOCUS ON WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT
The mandate of this consultancy will take place over a period of one months to conduct an overall project evaluation with deep focusing on women empowerment. The winning bidder will be responsible for the overall planning, design, data-collection, analysis and reporting process.
