Roads/Earth works to transfer solid wastes to Sofa dump site

During the recent military escalation along Gaza Strip for 11 days during May 2021, municipalities were unable to collect the households’ solid wastes and transfer them to the municipal dump sites due to high risk of reaching the dump sites and lack of fuel to operates their vehicles. As a result, huge amounts of solid wastes were stockpiled in temporary locations that caused an environmental hazards and negative impacts for communities and residents (bad odours, mosquitoes and rodents).

Action Against Hunger – Palestinian Territory (Gaza Strip) intends to sign a framework agreement with a qualified contractor (minimum 3rd degree) specialized in Roads/Earth works to transfer solid wastes to Sofa dump site from the different locations along Gaza Strip,

The deadline for submission of bids by the contractors is 25th of July 2021 at 10:00 AM (Gaza time)

Action Against Hunger does not bind itself to award the bid to the lowest bid or any bid and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the bid.

The awarding of this contract will be upon the confirmation of the funding from the donor.

The winning company should pay the advertisement fees in the local newspaper and on the website.
