Background

QADER for Community Development is a Palestinian independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit, and rights-based organization ‎focused on disability and inclusion in Palestine. Established in 2008, QADER leads a twin-track approach, dedicated to the empowerment ‎and protection of children, women, and youth with disabilities from marginalization, discrimination, and all forms of disability and gender-‎based violence. QADER is committed to aligning societal, institutional, and policy contexts with the principles of “disability inclusion” and ‎‎“leave no one behind” in Palestine. Through this alignment, QADER strives to foster its active engagement and meaningful participation ‎across diverse facets of life and to ensure their full entitlements of rights by local laws and international human rights conventions and ‎standards.‎

QADER in partnership with Christian Blind Mission (CBM) is implementing a project entitled “Enhancing Inclusion and Resilience of Local Communities in the West Bank through Capacity Building” with funding from the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development BMZ in 15 towns and cities in the Hebron, Bethlehem, and Salfit governorates. 

Purpose of The Assignment

The purpose of the assignment is to provide technical assistance to QADER team for the development of the CDPs for 10 communities in the governorates of Hebron (6 communities), Bethlehem (2 communities), and Salfit (2 communities). The technical assistance will include the following:

1. Facilitate the review of the (manual for the preparation of the CDPs) and the data collection tools (Available at QADER) and make the necessary amendments for QADER's final review and approval. 
2. Prepare data collection tools on suitable software such as KOBO, 
3. Provide support to the team in the data cleaning and analysis, both qualitative and quantitative. 
4. Provide support to the team during the process of writing the CDPs. 
5. Upon need, facilitate important community meetings for the presentation of the main findings and seek elaboration and feedback from community stakeholders.
