Overview & Background
DAMAN for SMEs is a non-profit company for the Credit Guarantee Scheme registered in Ramallah in the Palestinian Territory under the Palestinian law.
DAMAN for SMEs is a non-profit company for the Credit Guarantee Scheme. It is a partnership between ACAD Finance Company (ACADF), ASALA Company (ASALA) and International Solidarity for Development and Investment (SIDI) - France.
DAMAN for SMEs is a financial compensation tool for vulnerable persons and groups such as women, youth, small and micro entrepreneurs directly affected by policies imposed by the illegal occupation. DAMAN will focus on those residing in areas affected by the separation wall in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza. DAMAN for SMEs will maintain the political risk scheme initiated in 2008, and expand it to encompass occurrences of damages endured by borrowers as a result of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territory, expanding its outreach in West Bank, Gaza Strip and to also include coverage to those entrepreneurs residing in East Jerusalem.

Qualifications of the Consulting company Or Local NGO
- The consulting company or Local NGO should have at least 10 years of experience in MFIs sector and or trainings and capacity building programs.
- The consulting company or local NGO should have a clear identification with the inclusive function of microfinance.
- This call for proposal is open to consulting companies and local NGOs in Palestine.
- The consulting company or local NGO should have at least 5 years of experience in gender main streaming, financial services, business management, cooperatives etc.
- The consultant should have conducted at least two engagement assignments related to this topic.
- All the trainers should have BA, B.Sc. or Master Degrees in the topics selected.
- Excellent report writing and analysis in English.

The period to implement the 12 trainings is from January 2nd 2021 to June 30th 2022.
DAMAN for SMEs is not binding to accept the least financial offer.
The cost of advertisement will be deducted from the winner of this assignment.
