Training program for the social workers on case management approach

In partnership with UNICEF, Ma’an Development Center is implementing a project “Integrated psychosocial support and child protection services for the most affected boys and girls in Gaza, especially those impacted by COVID-19 and its repercussions on families in Gaza”” 

Aiming at enhanced life skills and reduced child protection risks in vulnerable communities in the Gaza Strip. Through building the capacity of other sectors in child protection and case management.

For addressing this aim, Ma’an Development Center is willing to contract a specialized trainer to deliver training on case management in child protection for social workers in the field of persons / children with disabilities. 

Through the implementation of this activity, UNICEF and MA’AN will equip 45 professionals in the field of disability with case management approach to be used in their work with children with disabilities and their families.  The trainer will have to monitor, coach and supervise the 45 social workers for a period of 2 months after the training. The supervision should be on line via the child protection information system and on site through individual / group meetings 

The expected key qualifications: 

• Academic qualification in social sciences or any other relevant fields. Master's degree and above is preferred. 
• Proven expertise in training on case management in child protection
• Proven document of ToT in case management in child protection
• Experience in case management supervision 
• Ability to develop training module and materials based on the proposed training topics.
