Action Against Hunger (AAH) is an international humanitarian organization founded in 1979 with the aim of combating hunger. AAH has been working in the occupied Palestinian territory since 2002 - currently with operational offices in Jerusalem, Gaza City, and Hebron. In Gaza, AAH - implements programs in the sectors of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (WASH), Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL responses. Through its interventions, AAH aims to protect lives, promote capacities of Palestinian communities, and transform system to influence decision making.
Under the WASH programming, AAH is implementing a 2-years project funded by Government of Canada (GAC) to increase equitable access for women and men, girls and boys to safe drinking water and to identify a range of health problems and risks, resulting from on-going practices related to unsafe water handling and will demonstrate safe practices.
Action Against Hunger – Palestinian Territory (Gaza Strip) intends to award an external consultant to conduct a training to build the capacity in safe water handling for 70 independent water truckers who sell desalinated water from private desalination plants to consumers within their communities and 70 water consumers (female and male community members). The training includes the importance of safe water handling and safe practices in their day-to-day activities, safety measures and procedures to be followed by the operators (cleaning tanks, filling points, household water delivery) to ensure safe water delivery.

Action Against Hunger does not bind itself to award the bid to the lowest bid or any bid and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the bid.
The winning company should pay the advertisement fees in the newspaper and on the website.
