Translation Services

The Palestinian Association for Empowerment and Local Development - REFORM would like to ask for your offer to provide translation services for one year with an ability to extend for another 2 years. Deadline for Submission: Sunday, 06th of Jun 2021, before 16:00 pm. 

Specifications of the translator:

Needed Background:

• At least 5 years of experience in translation and interpretation as a registered company.
• Good familiarity at least for 3 years with Procurement, financial, administration terminology and any other topic that is requested by REFORM team.
• Acquainted with technical professional abbreviations. Example: Request for quotations (RfQ).
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Duties:

• Communicate with the association to ensure that the translation meets their needs.
• Re-use shapes and forms wherever they are found in the document that needs to be translated.
• Use Calibri as font type and size 13 for English translations.
• Use Simplified Arabic as font type and size 14 for Arabic translations.
• The translation should be smooth, clear and coherent
• Accurate translation of the original text content and context.
• Reverse the meanings of the texts and translate them logically, and keep the meaning of the original text.
• Define the duration for translation.
• Accept adjustments required from REFORM.
• Follow-up with the project team.
• Notes:
• REFORM is not obliged to choose the lowest price.
• Registered Companies are only accepted.
• Advertising fees will be covered by the winning vendor.
• Companies should submit a valid deduction on source certificate or else 10% of the total payment will be deducted as income tax.
• Applicants must specify the needed duration for the required service.
• Technical offer must include company profile, registration certificate, deduction at source, and sample of previous work.
• Translation websites (example: google translate) is not accepted.

Signed and/or stamped Offers must be submitted in two sealed envelopes and delivered by hand to REFORM association.
