CMBM is an international humanitarian organization that works with health- and trauma-healing-related projects. CMBM responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore mental health, safety, education, and economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster.
CMBM adheres to the main principles of humanitarianism and medical ethics, in particular the principles of impartiality.

CMBM services are multisectoral, including Health, protection and education sectors. CMBM focuses on Healing the Wounds of War program with the various ministries and NGOs since 2005 to develop their psychosocial well-being, improve the resiliency of victims of war, heal war scars, and helping the helpers.

CMBM is seeking price offers for translation services for freelancers according to the below mentioned criteria.

Translation Language: English/Arabic

Type of Document: CMBM Community Manual including medical terms.

Number of words: 54311 words

Number of pages: 218 pages

Terms of reference (Technical – financial)

• The translator should be qualified and certified in the field of translation proven by documents.
• The translator should deliver high quality and edited translation.
• The translator must check the Arabic translation grammatically and spelling.
• The translator shall be available whenever CMBM needs to review the content or review the translation.
• The translator must attach samples of translation with the offer.
• The translator should meet the offered deadline delivered in the final edited version.
• CMBM may reject any part of translation that doesn’t meet the required quality.
• CMBM is allowed to modify, edit and make corrections of the translation.
• The manual in English and its translation are the right of the CMBM and may not be used or published or any part of it published by the translator.
• The translator should sign a contract with CMBM and should be committed to all terms and criteria mentioned.
• CMBM may terminate the contract if any of the contract conditions were provoked by the translator.
• Payment will include taxes and other fees through a bank transfer after delivering final edited translation and after being reviewed by CMBM.
• After finishing all works under this bid, the translator shall submit a payment request.
• Deadline for offers is Sunday 2/3/2025, at 12:00 P.M.
