Project Overview:

Project Name: The Innovative Citizen Participation

Location: West Bank

Funded by: Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)

Executing Entity: Palestinian Information Technologies Association (PITA)

Project Goal: Develop dynamic and user-friendly websites for Palestinian municipalities and youth cooperatives to enhance citizen engagement and digital participation initiatives.

Purpose of the Assignment:

The assignment will entail the development of new dynamic and user-friendly websites for each of the 14 Palestinian municipalities and youth cooperatives. The new websites will provide seamless and accessible platforms for citizens to access information and engage with these municipalities and youth cooperatives. Each website will be tailored to the specific needs and requirements of the respective municipality or youth cooperative, ensuring

effective communication, access to information and citizen engagement. The new website has to be developed and designed using the human-centered design approach (HCD)

Application Submission:

  Interested applicants must send the technical and financial proposal (in English) in sealed envelopes Each price offer separately (the technical offer in a separate envelope from the financial offer) within one sealed envelope to PITA’s office in Ramallah, Al-Irsal. Ougarit Building, 4th Floor, and no later than 28. Feb.2024 at 3:30 PM local time in Palestine and include the subject “The Innovative Citizen Participation - Website Development” on the cover of the provided offers.
