Project Title: Innovative Citizen Participation Website Development
Location: West Bank
Funding: Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
Executing Entity: Palestinian Information Technologies Association (PITA)
Overview:
The project aims to enhance citizen participation by developing dynamic, user-friendly websites for 12 Palestinian municipalities and 4 youth cooperatives. This initiative, funded by GIZ and executed by PITA, seeks to foster digital transformation and inclusive engagement.
Assignment Purpose:
Develop customized websites aligned with the specific needs of municipalities and youth cooperatives, ensuring accessibility, engagement, and seamless communication.
Service Scope:
- Needs assessment with beneficiaries.
- Design and development of websites incorporating UI/UX standards and human-centered design.
- Inclusion of essential sections such as services, tenders, announcements, etc.
- Accessibility compliance and security measures.
- Training for beneficiaries.
- Ongoing technical support post-launch.
Application Submission:
Interested applicants must send the technical and financial proposals (in English) in sealed envelopes, with each price offer in a separate envelope, to PITA’s office in Ramallah, Al-Irsal, Ougarit Building, 4th Floor, no later than March 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM local time in Palestine. The subject line on the cover of the envelope should read “The Innovative Citizen Participation - Website Development”.
