Terms of Reference (TOR) for Call for XR Production Trainers

Introduction

Within the framework of the project “Quality Urban Development and Sustainable Interventions Rehabilitation for Neighborhood (QUDSI-R4R)”, funded by the European Union and managed by the United Nations Human Settlements Program in the Arab Region (UN-Habitat), and partly implemented by Al-Quds University, this TOR announces the call for trainers in the field of XR Production.

Objective

The objective of this TOR is to solicit the services of qualified trainers to deliver an advanced XR (Extended Reality) training program. The training is aimed at experts who already possess basic knowledge in XR technologies, design, and tools, and will cover advanced techniques and applications in XR design, development, and production.

Scope of Work

The selected trainers will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Conduct a comprehensive 20-hour advanced XR training program over 5 days, focusing on high-fidelity graphics, complex application development, industry-specific use cases, and future trends.

- Ensure the training program includes theoretical sessions, hands-on workshops, and assessments.

- Develop and provide detailed training materials, including presentations, workshop guides, and supplementary resources.

- Ensure content is up-to-date with the latest XR technologies and industry practices.

- Facilitate hands-on workshops to enable participants to apply advanced XR techniques.

- Guide participants in developing and optimizing XR applications for various industries.

- Conduct assessments to evaluate participants' understanding and application of the training material.

- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for further learning and improvement.

Qualifications

The trainers should possess the following qualifications:

• - Advanced knowledge and experience in XR technologies, including VR, AR, and MR.
• - Proven experience in XR application development and deployment.
• - Strong background in 3D modeling, rendering, and animation.
• - Experience in conducting training programs and workshops.
• - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
