Request for a specialized private training company to implement “IT TVET Gaza Youth Training to Employment- Bridge”
The Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies (PITA) represents more than 150 major ICT companies in Palestine’s emerging technology and startup ecosystem, PITA has become the driving force in advancing the ICT sector’s interests, and the leading information source about this sector in Palestine.
PITA in partnership with Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children (ASDC), Gaza Community College for Tourist Studies (GCCTS) and University College for Science and Technology (UCST) is currently implementing the project “IT TVET Gaza Youth Training to employment-Bridge”.
The project is targeting the unemployed youth with disadvantaged backgrounds; vulnerable youth, marginalized women, and persons with disabilities, with the aim of improving their soft skills and 21st-century skills, and building their technical capacity skills which respond to the needs of the ICT labour market to ensure that trainees gain the necessary vocational, employability and 21st-century skills to improve their transition to employment and have career advancement opportunities. Also, the project is aiming to transfer the expertise, knowledge of market needs and competencies of private companies to TVET centers, thus, one or two co-trainers from the TVET centers will join the trainings.
The project will be implemented through conducting series of training, starting with 30-hour Soft Skills and 21st-century skills, followed by 70-hour Technical Capacity of one of the following topics: Mobile Application Development (Android, IOS), Web Development (PHP Laravel, ASP.Net), Graphic Design, and Digital Marketing, then after a 30-hour of Freelancing Techniques.
Afterwards, based on Work-Based Learning approach (WBL), a 500-hour on-job training (5 month); will be hosted by local ICT companies, providing direct coaching based on actual tasks for a number of the trainees. In addition, the trainees who are not recruited in the companies will be hosted by PICTI as a service provider in-depth coaching to find online jobs and income generation, thus, PICTI will provide entrepreneurship skills coaching for income generation ideas.
PITA is seeking qualified specialized private training company to deliver freelancing training to support 102 trainees, who will receive technical training in six topics:
1- Digital Marketing;
2- Graphic Design;
3- Web Development PHP Laravel;
4- Web Development ASP. Net;
5- Android Mobile Application Development;
6- IOS Mobile Application Development.
Interested specialized training companies should review the full ToR for this training, and may collect a copy of the ToR after paying 100$ from PITA office until 14 July 2021 and submit their offers in two sealed envelopes; one for the technical offer and another one for the financial offer by 15 July 2021 (before 12:00 pm) at PITA office, AlShohadaa’ Street, Hassania Building, 6th floor.
PITA reserves the right not to award the proposal to the lowest bidder or award parts of the proposal to different bidders.
Financial Offer must be in Euro excluding VAT
Supplier /service provider must provide Valid deduction at Source certificate.
