Secours Islamique France (Islamic Relief France) is a French based humanitarian international agency was founded in 1992 assists the poorest people through its emergency relief, development and orphan welfare programmes in over 30 countries wherever humanitarian and social- needs exist regardless their race, religion or gender.

Due to an increase in activities & a recruitment initiatives, Secours Islamique France (SIF) invites application from qualified applicants for the following post based in SIF's office in Gaza:

Project Coordinator :(Ref #:2010/05//FseC.) -13 Months contract (Re- dvertised)
To be responsible for the overall management of the Food Security Project.


Candidates must possess the following competencies:
-Essential Competencies for the Food Security Project Coordinator :
-Excellent Academic background in health, agriculture engineer , business administration, international development or related fields;
-3-5 Years of,experience in development emergency relief, & rehabilitation with significant -managerial experience;
-Report writing and communications skills;
-Good knowledge of Word , Excel, Access & Internet;
-Valid driver's license.

General Competencies Required:
-Commitment and sympathy to the plight of the poor and disadvantaged;
-Written and spoken English as well as Arabic, French is a plus;
-Broad knowledge and understanding of Islamic principles as they apply to development issues;
-Ability to work on own initiative as well as a part of a team;
-Energetic and able to work under stressful conditions meeting strict deadlines;
-Communication & negotiation skills;
-Planning skills.
