Accountant

The Organization; Assembly of Cooperation for Peace (ACPP) is a nonprofit, lay and independent Spanish NGO, defender of democratic values from a perspective of social and economic justice. Since its birth in 1990, ACPP firmly strives in pacifism, tolerance and dialogue. We support the democratic and progressive civil society of developing countries, generating local organization, promoting citizen participation and the search for alternatives. We carry out these actions in order to achieve more democratic and fair societies, where the beneficiaries of development are more equally distributed, empowering local actors.

Position: Accountant
Location: Ramallah

We look for someone reliable as he /she will be dealing with all financial issues of the office.  Need to be a problem solving person, with capacity to manage stress situations.

We offer a full time position.

His/her duties:

-Petty cash control and periodical reports to headquarters in Spain.
-Forecast of incomes and expenses.
-Double entry accountability for EU projects.
-Management of the financial reports.
-Relations with providers of services
-Car maintenance

His/her background
-Degree in accountability
-Previous experience in NGO environment
-Previous experience in EU projects management. Double entry system
-Experience with internal accountability systems
-English is compulsory. Spanish is an asset.
 

Salary is between 800 up to 900 euro, depending on experience. Labor insurance will be deducted from there.
