Position Overview: Baladi Supermarket is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic, English, and Hebrew, and will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage financial records and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial analysis and insights.
• Reconcile accounts, verify transaction details, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits as needed.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Monitor and report on cash flow and financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission of tax-related documents.
• Support financial planning and analysis by providing ad-hoc reports and financial summaries.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and internal controls.
• Stay updated on accounting best practices and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in Arabic, English, and Hebrew.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and accounting software.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
