Accountant

Palestinian electricity regulatory council (PERC) is a new institution established by the National Authority in 2009. PERC will be responsible for the organization of the electricity sector in Palestine. PERC is seeking to recruit dynamic and highly motivated Palestinian citizens for the following senior
position:

 

Accountant:

1-Compile and analyze financial information to prepare all financial statements.
2-Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with policies and procedures.
3-Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met and prepare financial management reports.
4-Establish the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
5-Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1-Accounting degree or equivalent.
2-Knowledge of accepted economic, auditing and accounting practices & principles.
3-Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
4-A minimum of 3 years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice.
