Food Security Field Officers

for an initial 9 months period

The candidate will:
- Participate in the design and implementation of Food security rapid assessments and project identification studies in cooperation with the Food Security Project Manager.
- Participate in the design of Food Security concept papers and project proposals
- Participate in information gathering from other NGO’s, institutions, ministries, local partners and communities on the food security situation in the Gaza Strip.
- Identify project beneficiaries
- Supervision the Social Workers
- Organize and supervise the projects in coordination with the local partner
- Participates in data collection for baseline studies
- Participate in the forecast and follow-up of the project expenses and budget
- Participate in meetings with the community and project personnel to define roles and
responsibilities

Profile of the Candidate:
- BS.c degree in agricultural sciences or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of Cash For Work and Food Security Programming
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
-Good project management skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good command of English with proven reporting skills
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
