Project Description:
CNFA is seeking applications from qualified candidates for an Activity Coordinator position for the Quality Technologies Revitalizing Agriculture (Q’tra). The purpose of this activity will be to collaborate with farmers in Gaza to improve climate-resilient conservation and management of freshwater resources and associated ecosystems by increasing the availability, quality, and environmental resilience of drinking water supply sources. The duration of this Activity will be five years.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Activity and Compliance Manager, the Activity Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining organized project documentation and supporting the Activity and Compliance Manager in monitoring grant activities and Direct Procurement. Participation in site visits and collaboration with the MEL team helps track compliance and assess challenges. S/he is also responsible for keeping information for audits and documenting program activities systematically.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the solicitation, review, selection, administration, and closeout of grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with USG rules and regulations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and organized project documentation and files related to the grants process, including Requests for Applications (RFAs), selection memos, agreements, and procurement records.
- Assist the Activity and Compliance Manager in ensuring that all grant and contract activities (milestones, procurement, technical assistance) comply with the grants manual and USG/CNFA policies.
- Participate in site visits to monitor grant and contract implementation, ensuring smooth workflow and communication with other departments.
- Assist the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team in tracking compliance and assessing achievements, while supporting the identification of challenges and helping to propose solutions.
- Assist in maintaining high-quality information management through regular updates and coordination of grant and contract files, preparing them for internal and external audits.
- Develop and coordinate the maintenance of a comprehensive tracker to monitor grant and contract commitments.
- Document all program activities and maintain an organized program filing system, ensuring all related documents are properly stored.
- Track and review grantee contribution, sending reminders to grantees and program staff as needed.
- Assists other team members as needed and other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Social Sciences or any other relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working in a project coordinator position.
- Experience working with USAID or another donor funded project preferred.
- Ability to write concise and clear reports.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong intrapersonal skills.
- Ability to foster and maintain a team environment.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
