CHF International is implementing a three-year program, called Palestinian Community Assistance Program in Gaza with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The overall goal for PCAP is to pave the way to a brighter future for Palestinians through social and economic relief and recovery by meeting basic humanitarian needs and laying the foundations for long-term recovery in Gaza. To support the implementation of this program, CHF International and partners are seeking qualified candidates to assume the following positions, on a possible renewable yearly contract:
Admin – HR Assistant (1 position) – Gaza, (1 position) Ramallah, Al Bireh Office
Programs: USAID-PCAP
Duration: 1 Year
1- Job Summary and Duties:
CHF is seeking a candidate for an Admin – HR Assistant position in its Gaza Office. The Admin – HR Assistant shall be responsible for administrative and human resource issues related to CHF’s role under PCAP, which comprise of Housing, Infrastructure and Agriculture.
Responsibilities:
-Typing correspondence and reports.
-Assisting in preparation of project forms, monitoring documents and reports.
-Filing, maintaining and up-dating Admin and HR records.
-Ordering and maintaining stock of office supplies for CHF - PCAP.
-Administering payroll and maintaining records relating to staff;
-Interpreting and advising on employment legislation;
-Ensure that all Daily Record Sheets are copied and ready for the PCAP staff.
-Keep daily records of the attendance sheet for all staff.
-Coordinate with other INGO’s in relation to training and meetings.
-Ensure all information of employees of CHF PCAP team are recorded and filed.
-Scanning and copying of official documents.
-Ensure all staff know and understand their Job Descriptions and office rules.
-Handling petty cash.
Qualifications:
Education and Training
-A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any relevant field from an accredited institution or other relevant field, or a combination of experience and education working in this sector.
Experience
-At least 3 years relevant experience with international organizations
-Past work with USAID and/or European funded programs preferred.
Technical skills
-Knowledge of organization, operating procedures, and policies of the human resource department.
-Fair knowledge of techniques of interviewing, selecting and recruiting applicants for employment.
-Knowledge of modern office procedures and processes.
-Good command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
-Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications
