ActionAid is an international organisation, working with over 25 million people in more than 45 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice. ActionAid Palestine is a part of the ActionAid International Federation and ActionAid Australia.

ActionAid is seeking a qualified person to fill the position of Administration & Finance Officer for a 12 month period (extendable). The post location is AA Global Platform Office in Bethlehem with occasional work at AA’s main office in Hebron.
Start Date: immediately.

The key responsibilities for this position will be as follows:

-Be in charge of front office and maintain appropriate and effective administrative and logistical systems to ensure smooth running of the office.
-Responsible for procurement and maintenance, e.g. negotiate and maintain contacts with suppliers (maintenance, office stationary, utilities, courier, etc.) in an accountable and transparent manner.
-To ensure effective financial management system in accordance with ActionAid’s policies and procedures
-To oversee the overall administration and logistics management at Global Platform Office
-Support the Global Platform staff in administration and logistics for conducting training courses
-To act as the HR focal person in Global Platform office and ensure compliance of ActionAid’s policies and procedures

Eligible applicants are required to have the following qualifications and skills:
-A bachelor degree in administration, financing or related subject
-Minimum of 3 years experience in the field of admin/finance work
-Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
-Very good written and oral communication skills in English and fluency in Arabic
-Good personal, communication and team coordination skills
-Service minded and can meet short deadlines in a constructive manner without getting stressed
-Reliable and responsible with a high degree of integrety
-Experience working with international and local partners
