Title of the Position: Maternity substitution for the Administrative and Financial Assistant

Capacity: Part time 60% (24 hours, distributed into 3 days weekly).

Location: Ramallah.

Duration: 4 months, 1st of January 2025 – 30th of April 2025.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Financial Tasks:
  • Compiling, preparing, translating and scanning financial supporting documents

 

  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Assisting with projects’ management, i.e. organising meetings, conferences, workshops taking care of travel arrangements, venues, catering, compile material, send invitations, compiling media reports etc.
  • Day-to-day coordination, logistics support, keeping files of the projects.
  • Facilitating and participating in follow up and field visits by the projects’ teams.
  • Taking meetings minutes, sharing information with team members etc.
  • Translating basic documents related to administration of the office.
  • Other administrative tasks, such as filing, copying, faxing, telephone service etc.

Duration

Employment is for 60% for 4 months, intended to start on the 1st of January 2025 and end on the 30th of April 2025. Please take note that this vacancy is a substitution for a maternity leave for an existing employee, and therefore, the contract will not be renewed.

Remuneration

The monthly salary of this position is ILS 2,400 which is inclusive of income tax if applicable.

Requirements

  • Professional knowledge and experience
    • BA degree – preferably in business administration, management or related fields.
    • At least two years of work experience in administrative/ financial and/ or project assistance fields.
    • At least one year of experience in assisting/ managing international projects.
    • Knowledge of project cycle management.
  • Skills and competencies
    • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken);
    • Adequate ability to use and manage digital communication and learning tools;
    • Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
    • Ability to multitasking and organised approach to daily work;
