Job Announcement

Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is a government agency of the Republic of Korea responsible for Official Development Assistance (ODA) programs. KOICA Palestine office is looking for an eligible and qualified person to work as an Administrative Assistant in its office in Ramallah.

Job Description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Duty Location: Ramallah 

Contract type: One Year, including a three-month probation period
(The contract will be renewed after an evaluation at the end of the contract term.)

Duties & Responsibilities 

In particular, he/she will be responsible for the below tasks, but not limited to: 

  • Carries administrative duties such as filing, copying, binding, scanning, records keeping, writing emails, etc. 
  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Schedule meetings and support office visitors
  • Responsible for purchasing office goods (stationery, IT-related products, kitchen supplies) and facilitating maintenance support with the related personnel. 
  • Manage and follow the organization’s banking services with local banks (facilitating transactions and financial products) 
  • Manage the office rental contract, medical insurance quotations and contracts, medical checkups, and necessary quotations.
  • Follow the tax exemption requests with the Ministry of Finance and other related partners
  • Manage and update the office property list and inventory
  • Support on receiving Korean delegations (hotel accommodation, sim purchase, and other necessary logistics)
  • Facilitate organizing office events such as workshops, seminars, receptions and conferences. 
  • Assist Managers and support staff
  • Any other duties requested by the management.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Requirements

  • High School Certificate or Diploma in Office Management, Accounting or Finance. 
  • Palestinian ID holder
  • Two years minimum experience in office administration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Inter-personal and time management skills
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office, social media, etc. 
  • Organizational Skills

Working Hours 

  • Five days a week (Monday – Thursday 8:00-16:30, Friday 8:00-14:00), including a one-hour lunch break.
