and Gaza” (with a project phase of 3 years) is seeking an
„Administrative Officer in Gaza“
Tasks and Functions:
- Manage day to day business and administrative tasks according to request of clients or of supervisor
- Assist supervisor in implementing GTZ policies, procedures, systems, rules and regulations
- Support supervisor in budget and resources planning
- Maintain communications and good relations with colleagues
- Manage daily office operations and facilitate information exchange with partners and other programmes
- Prepare protocols, purchase orders and service contracts as required by the programme
- Procure / prepare contracts for goods and services required for the programme according to
GTZ Rules and Regulations
- Follow up on submission of deliverables and completion of payments for the consultants/ contracotrs and/or vendors
- Assist in any other related task
Required qualifications:
- College or University degree BA or related fields.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant occupational experience.
- Fluent in Arabic and English. German is a definite plus.
- Excellent computer and communication skills.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions, self-initiator, flexible and able to work with people of different backgrounds, service oriented, friendly personality, well organised and motivated.
Starting Date: February 2010
