Administrative & Projects Coordinator
The A.M. Qattan Foundation is seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for the position of Administrative & Projects Coordinator to work in its offices in Ramallah.

Line of Responsibilities: Culture and Arts Programme (CAP) Director
Job Objectives:
To efficiently coordinate administrative aspects of the Culture and Arts Programme (CAP), and to coordinate certain events and projects within the Arts and Literature and the Audio-Visual units, in close coordination with the Programme director and relevant CAP and AMQF staff members, using a participatory approach with the Programme team to achieve the desired results and greatest impact.
To ensure the accomplishment of the job tasks efficiently and effectively, knowledge of the Foundation’s vision, mission, values, objectives and procedures, and of the CAP’s work scope, fields and methodology, including but not limited to, Arts and Literature Unit, Audio-Visual Unit and any new projects within CAP scope of work is imperative.

Detailed Tasks & Responsibilities:
-Follow-up with the CAP staff to ensure timely and complete gathering of all necessary information and materials for the Programme’s narrative reports.
-Compile and draft all narrative reports needed for CAP, both in English and Arabic, in close coordination with the relevant CAP staff.
-Coordinate the process of preparing all CAP communications materials including publications, advertising, publicity, newsletters, and media materials in close coordination with CAP Director, the Director of Communications and Public Relations, and other relevant staff members and third parties as applicable.
-Coordinate the process of developing the annual work plan and budget for CAP.
-Coordinate and follow up procurement-related activities for the CAP in collaboration with the relevant staff.
-Receive and process all applications submitted to the Guest House residency, and ensure that decisions are taken on time and conveyed to guests/partners, and prepare all necessary information for the Foundation’s records and website.
-Assist in preparing the CAP grant agreements and letters of approval in close coordination with the Programme staff.
-Coordinate certain projects and events organized within CAP under the supervision of CAP Director, and in cooperation with relevant partners or CAP staff members, including but not limited to the annual Ramallah Doc project and the biennial Young Writer of the Year Award.
-Provide logistical and administrative support for events organized by CAP.
-Make sure that all CAP data bases are updated and classified in an easily accessible, form both electronically and where needed in hard copies.
-Make sure that all work related records and materials are archived and filed in an easily accessible, safe and well classified form both electronically and where needed in hard copies.
-Any other tasks that might be requested by the CAP director within the Programme’s domain of work.
Skills/Qualifications:
-University degree in cultural management, business administration, or a related field in human sciences.
-At least 5 years of work experience in cultural administration or relevant field.
-Good knowledge and previous experience in project management.
-Excellent Arabic and English language skills both spoken and written.
-Proven record in report writing in Arabic and English.
-Excellent knowledge and command of computer Microsoft office programs.
-Interest and knowledge of the arts and culture scene in Palestine, and the region at large.
-High communications skills, good networking and team work abilities.
-Excellent time management skills with attention to details.
