World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking an:
Advocacy and Communications Programs Support Officer
The successful candidate will:
Assist in planning of new projects upon identification of needs Help in organizing itineraries for external visitors as needed Support in developing advocacy communications and responding to requests for information Work on developing implementation plans, budgets, and short/long term strategies
Help conduct appraisals with stakeholders and partners to generate action plans
Assist in communications/advocacy stories for website as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor degree in Public Relations, Communications, Development studies Political science Business Administration or a related field
Minimum 1 years’ related experience
Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Arabic
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Publisher Word , PowerPoint Excel and Access
Ability in coordinating projects, trainings, monitor activities
Experience in proposal and report writing and budget management
Understanding of the geopolitical, economic and social issues in the region
Committed to achieving quality results and service
Effective skills in communication of information and ideas
Self-motivated, a team player with good time management skills
Good interpersonal and cross-cultural communications skills
Knowledge of photography, video editing and social media skills
Valid driver’s license for travel between Jerusalem and the West Bank
Position is based in Ramallah
