Job Title: Advocacy & Poilcy Officer
Location: Ramallah

The Palestinian IT Association of companies “PITA” is looking for an Advocacy and Policy officer

Main duties and responsibilities include but not limited to
-In charge of developing and implementing PITA advocacy Action Plan.
-Weekly reviews of policy issues identifying important and priority issues.
-Work closely with legal advisor to develop policy positions
-Works closely with relevant committees that are comprised of members and external experts to ensure meetings are effective and supported.
-Ensure that position papers and approved policies are communicated appropriately.
-Respond to government consultation and other consultations from relevant organizations.

Reports to the Executive Director 

Qualifications:
-Bachelor in a relevant field
-Minimum 4 years of proven track record in a similar position
-Experience in policy research preferably in ICT regulatory issues
-High proficiency in both English and Arabic writing.
-Ability to effectively communicate to a wide audience
-Excellent Presentation and communications skills
-Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions and attention to details
-Committed to quality
