Islamic Relief Palestine in partnership with CAFOD intends to establish a center for psychosocial guidance in Northern Gaza Strip. The centre aims to create healthy atmosphere for children, through psychological support, educational support and other recreational activities. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancies for the psychosocial guidance center in Northern Gaza Strip 7- Title: Animator
Ref: 2009/25/A
Duration: One year (Full Time)
Main Duties: Implementing, preparing and evaluating individual and group animation activities, plan daily activities according to requirements, continue support of children’s during the activities, and participate in team meetings and open days.
Candidates must posses the following competencies:
• Degree in Art or related field.
• At least tow experience in working with psychosocial support for children.
• Ability in drawing, storytelling, drama and technical skill.
• Artistic Ability – Creative thinking, models and understanding of childhood development.
• General Skills required for all applicants :
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Interpersonal skills and good communication skills.
• Good computer Skills.
• English language skills.
• Fully aware of the cultural sensitivity and stigma of mental health disorders
